Worry not! This compilation in combination with 'Kingdom Hearts 2.8: Final Chapter Prologue' offers the perfect way to catch up on the story of one of the most beloved series in gaming history up to this point for quite a decent price. 358/2 being that it has the worst gameplay of the series (with the exception of KHx). Coded being the story isn't at all necessary which makes the game all filler material. I would probably rank 358/2 a bit lower around where Re:Coded is as they both have a huge problems. If I had to guess, I'd say Re:CoM is scored so low because it doesn't translate well to console and it was released towards the end of the PS2 life cycle. I don't see how any reasonable person can justify that much filler and grinding just to reach more filler.
I tried it out for a couple of months and absolutely hate it. I agree with the rest of the sub that KHx should be ranked lowest. I think that, at the time, it being a GBA game was off-putting and flew under the radar for most people to notice. I personally believe CoM is a solid game for what it is.
